Where is the problem?
Simple. Seating here and there. Not moving.
So many people are suffering with lower back, knee pain and aching from every limb possible more than ever.
The chair, the couch, the seat, the bench – all of them are killing your ass.
Sitting for eating food.
Sitting in the car or public transport.
Sitting to watch movies.
Sitting in the office.
You Need Strong Glutes
You might have heard of ‘gluteal amnesia’. That’s what you’re doing every day to your rear.
You're putting them to snoozland constantly.
The human body is designed to move and not to stay still in the same position for hours on end.
That passive activity is damaging the biggest muscles in your body.
Yes, Your Glutes!
They become a “sleeping giant” with the lifestyle of today.
Your glutes are the largest and strongest muscles that you can have. And what people do nowadays?
Let them going flabby, saggy, floaty, droopy with too much seating and not enough activity.
Think about it.
Where are they located?
Between your upper and lower body so that you can stand, move, walk, run, jump.
Be mobile and balance basically.
Your glutes are there for lots of very good reasons so that you do not suffer from aches and pains, have body imbalance and not able to do what you want to do.
Components of Strong Glutes
Your glutes are made up of 3 parts:
- the maximus – the strongest and biggest
- the medius
- the minimus
When you train, you don’t necessarily hit the 3 of them unless you know how to.
Training, it’s not just jump onto a stationary bike or walking endless hours on a treadmill and doing cardio.
You need to wake them up and strengthen those babies with proper strength training like single leg movement and hip thrusts (deadlift, kettlebell swings...)
