After the high demand and Sold out of Paul-Andre Morand's workshop last May, he is back to give you a full day on foot mechanics and how they relate to pain and influence your whole body movement.

Paul will guide you and explain:

  • What pain really is and how it works
  • The complex mechanics of your feet and the influence and effects they have in your body
  • Mobility techniques to deal with toes issues, bunions, plantar fasciitis and other common foot issues
  • How to work WITH your body to relieve pain and create fast change
  • The skills to be your own physio and use them in your home and away

You will explore the intricate mechanics of your feet, gain more awareness and contrast, gradually reconnecting to lost movement patterns.

  • You will also have a solid grasp of how to address your pain and how to avoid future injuries.
  • More awareness, comfort, mobility and more control of how your body moves as a whole
  • A stronger foundation for health and performance

The places are limited to 8 as Paul will provide to EACH participant lots of individual work and assessment.

All participants will be provided with Paul's exercises booklet and videos to continue your healing practice at home.

What Others Say About Paul's Workshop

The way Paul explained everything step by step and that he took time to look into each persons specific pain points to give advices. In my specific case, I have been dealing with lower back pain and the workshop helped me understand that the pain can be stress/work related, as our psychological system can unconsciously affect our bodies. Taking simple steps as monitoring our breathing and following some simple exercises really helped me feel a noticeable relief, so I will most definitely be using what I learned. Thanks Paul and Jeanne for organising this 🙂

Fatima

Really like the breathing exercises, further understanding of pain from a non structural point of view.

Delighted with the knowledge shared at Paul's workshop. I have increased my skills in both assessing & understanding pain & injuries, as well as learning some excellent skills to help both myself & my clients deal with their pain & injury issues.

Rob

I found the workshop with Paul very helpful , with questions in regards to my injuries answered in and easy and understandable way. The exercises that I was shown are easy to remember and I find myself being able to do them in my own time. It was a very beneficial workshop to attend and I would recommend it to others.

During this workshop, you will retrain your nervous system / brain and release all the tensions you've been holding on, which overtime cause pain and body movement restriction.

Relieve Upper Body Tension - Neck, Shoulder, Back

Do you 'drop your shoulders' frequently in your class or training session?
Do you feel stressed and tired but wired and can't switch off?
Do you want to learn how to improve your posture, breathing and ability to relax fully?
You will learn how to:
• Take back control of the muscles of your shoulders, neck and back
• Even out your shoulders without forcing
• Improve your breathing
• Ease your mid back
• Improves voice projection

Relieve Lower Body Tension - Hips, Lower back pain, Sciatica

If you ever feel your hips are stiff, rotational movements aren't as smooth as they used to be and legs get tired quickly from walking, then join us for the Lower Body workshop!
You will learn how to:
• Ease tension around your hips and in your legs
• Smoothly rotate with increased range of motion and no forcing or straining
• Movements to keep up and improve further
• An 'activation routine' you can do before running, working out or as a stand alone feel good daily routine

Benefits of Somatic Movement Education in the tradition of Thomas Hanna

• Improves muscle control and decreases tension rapidly
• Improves your ability to rest fully and sleep better
• Increases body awareness and emotional regulation
• Teaches you how to fix yourself independently from a therapist
• Has a 'less is more' approach to hone in on refining your movement – like a base layer to other activities
• Is suitable for high performance athletes as well as people starting a training
•Does not need any equipment
•Makes you independent from needing a therapist to 'work on you'

Katrin Neue is a Dublin-based movement teacher and her focus lies on working with clients suffering from chronic pain.

She has been teaching Somatic Movement Education since 2014 and gained her certification as a Clinical Somatic Educator in 2017 by Martha Peterson (Essential Somatics), holds an MA in Dance Performance and is a guest teacher for Dance Ireland's professional development training as well as guest lecturer at UL for Somatic Education.
